Wladyslaw Sobotka, 88, of New Britain passed away on January 26, 2022 with his family by his side. Son to the late Walenty and Rozalia Sobotka, Wladyslaw was born in Poland and later came to the United States where he raised his family. In addition to his parents, Wladyslaw is predeceased by his beloved wife Zofia (Drezek) Sobotka. Wladyslaw is survived by and will be dearly missed by: his daughter, Krystyna Sobokta; son Stanley Sobotka and his wife Heather; grandchildren: Madelyn and Nicholas Sobotka; brother Eugenisz Sobotka, of Poland; and cousins Maria and Bogdan Szymaniewski. A period of visitation will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain from 4:00-6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated the following day on February 1, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, Broad Street, New Britain at 9:30am. A brief visitation will be held prior at the funeral home from 8:30-9:00am. Interment services will immediately follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Burritt Street, New Britain.
