

Yolanda (Lynn) (Aunty Londa) Didato Fiumara, 96, of New Britain and Plymouth Mass joined the Lord in Heaven on August 18, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Rosario and Anna Didato. Wife to the love of her life Victor J Fiumara of 68 wonderful years.
Yolanda was known for her infectious smile, pride in her Italian heritage, and above all the fierce love and dedication to her family and God.
Yolanda lived her life fully and without regret, her kind soul and sense of humor was contagious. She truly adored the simple joys in life: cooking, enjoying family dinners and the weekly competitive Saturday night card games with her dear friends.
Yolanda attended St. Mary’s school in New Britain. She was a proud member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in New Britain. Yolanda was a regular churchgoer involved in many activities over the years, she enjoyed and treasured her church family dearly. She was a Customer Service Representative for Stanley Works for 45 years prior to her retirement.
Yolanda will sadly be missed by all, but she will remain in our hearts forever.

Yolanda is predeceased by her parents: Rosario and Anna Didato; her beloved husband Victor Fiumara, sister’s Domenica (Minnie) Drazata; Marion (Nutsy) Bartholomew; Lucy Leguillou and brother Sebastian (Sonny) Didato.
Yolanda leaves behind her children who she cherished: Joseph Fiumara and wife Sara of Plymouth, MA; Jeffrey Fiumara Sr., Robin Fiumara and husband Michael of Newington. Her sister Josephine (Josie) Catanzaro of South Carolina. She was a loving grandmother to Jeffrey Fiumara Jr. of New Britain; Matthew Hills and significant other Alyssandra Caccomo of Newington; Justene Golino and husband Anthony of Princeton, New Jersey; Jillian Pothier and husband Justin of Plymouth, MA and Elisabeth Kingston and husband Garrett of Boston, MA; her precious great-grandchildren: Donaven, Giovanni, CeCe, Leo and Giada. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and close friends who she loved and treasured with all her heart.
A period of visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain from 9:00-10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Ann’s Church, 95 North Street, New Britain at 11:00am. Internment will immediately follow at Yolanda’s final resting place in St. Mary Cemetery, Stanley Street, New Britain.
