

Yolande (Ouellette) Levesque, 89, widow of Alphe Levesque of East Hartford, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Arden Courts, Farmington. She was born in Lille, Maine and was the daughter of the late Ferdinand (Fortunat) and Emily (Beaupre) Ouellette and resided in East Hartford most of her life. She had been a long-time parishioner of St. Mary Church, East Hartford.
Yolande suffered from Alzheimers disease in her later life. She now has her memory back. She will be remembered for her love of puzzles and enjoying a great game of scrabble. After raising her children she attended Hartford School of Business. She maintained her career working at the Aetna Insurance Company for 17 years. A quiet, light hearted woman, she had a loving, thoughtful and gentle nature with a great sense of humor.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by her children: James Levesque and his wife Carol of Southington, Rita Levasseur and her husband Glen of Farmington and Joanne Parent and her husband Wayne of Rocky Hill, and many nieces and nephews. Yolande was also predeceased by three brothers: Ludger Ouellette, Addesse Ouellette and Emery Ouellette and two sisters Gilberte Garon and Laurainne Levesque.
Family and friends are invited for a time of visitation to be held Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 beginning at 10am at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain followed by a prayer service at 11AM. Burial will occur at a later date in Maine.
