Zofia Rembisz, 88, beloved wife of the late Boleslaw Rembisz passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025. She was born February 2, 1937 in Poland daughter of the late Wojciech and Rozalia (Kwasnik) Dzioba. Zofia and her husband had owned Polona Lunch for many years where she would do all the cooking, after the business was sold she worked for Okay Industries from where she retired. She was also a faithful member of Sacred Heart Church.
Zofia is survived by her daughter Theresa and David Sirois of Southington, two grandchildren; Jason and Nicole and one great-granddaughter, McKenna. In addition to her husband she is predeceased by her son Eugene Rembisz.
Her funeral services will be on Friday, November 7 from 7:30-8:30 am at New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by a mass of christian burial at 9:00am at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain. Burial next to her husband will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends my call at the funeral home on Thursday, November 6 from 5-8pm.
