My deepest sympathy to Barbara and their two sons. Ted was a wonderful man full of love, especially for the Veterans of our great country. It was my pleasure to be able to work with Ted on his Veterans Day show at the Elks a few years ago. A show that he put together every year for the Veterans of the Miami Valley. Ted was a wonderful family friend for nearly 50 years.  I had an immense respect for him.  

I remember the first time I heard Willie Nelson - it was back in the seventies at Barb and Ted's Whenever I hear Willie, I'll think of Ted.

To Ted's family:  I never met Ted, but as a technical communicator I hold his professional life's work in the highest regard.  I'm sure he was more than a writer, teacher, businessman, and that the important aspects of his life are what really matter and what he will be remembered for most - husband, father, grandfather.
