He was a good man, and always helped us when asked.

I remember Bob from Western Avenue. I remember his Mother,who lived just in back of the location. Bob always was there for me when I needed his assistance as I lived on Shoop Ave, and worked for Mont.Co Court of Domestic Relations. The neighborhood appreciated Bob and the guys that worked for him. If something did'nt seem right, we called on Bob for assistance. I will miss you.  May you rest in peace.

I met Bob when I was a little boy, and the business was still at N. Western & Bridge.  He sold my dad a 1964 Corvair.  My dad & Bob were friends for many years.  My friendship continued with Bob when I joined DPD in 1981 and was assigned to West Dayton.  What a great friend to law enforcement.  RIP.

Bob was a great person and friend to the Dayton Police Department.  Always willing to assist with whatever he could. He will be greatly missed.

My prayers go out to the Spurlock family.

So sorry for your loss.I met Bob in 64 ,he was the greatest man walking.He was allways in my heart.No man could ever come close to Bob, he was the greatest.Heaven just got a wonderfull angel.

Bob was a GREAT man. He never met a stranger or refused to help anyone in need.He will be missed very much. RIP
