Angela Caprio

Angela P. Caprio passed away on June 5, 2014 at the age of 80. She was born on June 6, 1933 in New York City to Vito and Susan Tasaro. Angela has been a Congers resident since 1970 and prior resided in the Bronx and New York City. She was married to Alfonse E. Caprio in New York City. Angela was employed as a sales director for over forty years for Movies en Route in New York City and later for Swank Entertainment in Nyack, NY. Angela was a faithful member of St. Paul's Church in Congers and enjoyed traveling. Angela will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt whose greatest joy came from taking care of her family.

She is predeceased by her husband of over fifty years, Alfonse. Angela is survived by her loving son, Paul and his wife, Maria of Congers; two grandchildren, Tyler and Julia; brother, Michael Tasaro, and three nephews, Michael, William, and John.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home, 113 Lake Road East, Congers, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10:00am at St. Paul's Church, Congers with entombment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Township, NJ.
