Angelina "Joy" Martino

Angelina M. Martino, 85 entered into Heaven to be with the Lord on June 9,2020. She was born August 12,1934 in the Bronx,NY. The daughter of Stephen and Carmela Librante Cataudella.

Angelina graduated from Christopher Columbus High School. Following graduation she worked for Con Edison and after raising her five children returned to work at NY Life.

She married the love of her life John J. Martino and they settled in the Bronx,NY and in 1969 moved to New City,NY where together they raised five children. They celebrated 64 years of marriage in April. Her entire life was dedicated to raising her family.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her beloved son Stephen and her brother George. Surviving in addition to her husband John J. Martino are her sons John S. Martino, Richard J. Martino and his wife Janice, daughters Linda Martino McCarter and her husband John, Valerie Martino DeSoto and her husband Bill and 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 11th at 10am; at St. Francis of Assisi Church in West Nyack NY. Interment to follow at Fred Loescher Veterans Cemetery, Spring Valley NY.

My dear, sweet beautiful mom. I’m so lost without you. You were the person I would turn to wherever I needed help. You were the best mother and grandmother anyone could ever ask for, Dianna and Jake miss you so very much! We are all so very grateful for everything you’ve taught us we will cherish all of our wonderful memories. We love and miss you so very much! Please watch over us and protect us, until we all meet again. We love you mom! You, dad and Stephen are all back together again and I know you are all so happy to be together again, that makes us happy too!

My beautiful Grandmother , you are missed. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about you and Grandpa. 🤍 I will cherish all our wonderful memories together. You are finally at rest with Uncle Steve & Grandpa.
