Angelo Di Martino

Angelo “Sonny” Di Martino passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on April 25, 2017. He was 86. Angelo was born on March 9, 1931 to Antoinette and Michel Di Martino. In October of 1957 Angelo married Mary. Angelo was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. Angelo was a family man. He was a father to three beautiful children, a grandfather of 7 as well as great-grandfather of 5. He is survived by his numerous brothers and sisters. Angelo’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and watching them grow. He was a dedicated, passionate, and hard-working man. He defined what it meant to have strength and taught his family to never give up. He will forever be in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace our beautiful angel.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 from 2 p.m – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 1 at 10 a.m. at Accession Cemetery in Airmont, NY. In lieu of flower arrangements, please consider donating to Shriners Children Hospital.
