
Ann F. Cozzi of New City passed away on August 28, 2011 with her family at her side. She was born on November 16, 1938 in New York to Edwin and Anne (Eckhart) Flynn. She lived in New City since 1976 prior Tarrytown, NY. Ann married her husband Robert on September 23, 1967 at the Church of the Transfiguration in Tarrytown, NY. She graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA with a BA in science. Ann then attended RCC and received an Associate degree in Nursing in 1974. She was an avid reader, gardener, a member of St. Augustine's Church, an active member of Birth Rite and a passionate supporter of the unborn. She will always be remembered for her warm and loving way, her kindness and compassion, dignity and grace.
She is survived by her husband Robert of New City, one daughter Terry McCullough and husband Ray of New City, grandchildren Brendan, Kerry, Jack, Annie and Tommy, her twin sister Mary Flynn Wilson of Connecticut, nieces and nephews Mary Kate Wilson, Dan Wilson (Jen), Colin Wilson (Wendy), John Cozzi (Wendy), and Jennifer Booth nee Cozzi (Joe).
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Higgins Funeral Home New City, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday 10AM at St. Augustine's Church New City, NY. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery Congers, NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to United Hospice of Rockland or Birth Rite.
