Ann Ferris Slaybaugh

Ann was a longtime resident of Rockland County. She was born on March 20, 1960 to Margaret and Thomas Ferris. She graduated from North Rockland High school and continued with a degree in Cosmetology. Ann loved her work; she enjoyed making all people feel beautiful and confident. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and visits to the beach, but her greatest joys came from her family. She is survived by her daughters Caitlin Shapiro, Meaghan Slaybaugh, and Kelly Slaybaugh, son-in-law Jon Shapiro and Jason Patterson. She is also survived by her greatest joys, her grandchildren Ryan, Reigan, Royce and Jason Patterson and John and Charlotte Shapiro. She is also survived by her mother Margaret Rossi, her brother and sister-in-law John and Roberta Ferris, her sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Gerald Tomaselli, and sister Teresa Ferris, in addition to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held on Saturday February 24th at Chapel of St John the Divine in Tomkins Cove at 11:00am. The funeral will be a small, private ceremony for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation or Joe Raso Hospice Residence in Ann Slaybaugh’s name.
