Ann Mary Slingsby, of New City, NY, born August 10, 1930, passed away on April 26, 2014, at 83 years of age. She was born in Bronx, NY to Charles and Sarah Cimitile. She married Harry Slingsby on June 5, 1952. She attended Hunter College. She was the beloved and creative writer, director and producer of the Clarkstown Senior Citizens Show for 35 years. She also served as Art Director for Clarkstown Recreation for 30 years. A most loving mother and grandmother to and survived by her daughter Tara Handsman and her husband Alan and son Robert Slingsby and his wife Eileen, her grandchildren Bryan, Zachary, Ryan, Jade and Skylar and great grandchildren Luke, Adrienne and Caroline. Of her 7 brothers and sisters, she is survived by the special Angela and Rose. Predeceased by her husband Harry and son Keith with whom she is united. She shall be reposed at Higgins Funeral Home, Main Street, New City New York on Tuesday April 29th from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm. A Mass shall be held at St. Augustine's Church on Wednesday, April 30th.
