Ann Smith of New City, died on February 5, 2011. She was 79. Ann was born December 16, 1931 in New York City to Michael and Beatrice (Carr) Fallon. She has lived in New City for 47 years prior, Bronx, NY. On June 8, 1957, she married Raymond P. Smith in St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church. Besides her husband, Ann is survived by her children - Thomas P. (Rosemary) of Vero Beach, FL, Andrew M. (Dawn) of St. James, NY; Rosemary (Emil) Pallatta of New City and Nancy A. Cusack of New City; grandchildren Caitlyn Ann, Matthew, Daniel, Andrew, Patrick, Emil and Anthony. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10AM in St. Augustine's Church in New City, with burial to follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
