Annette Pizzuto

Annette Pizzuto, age 82, of New City, New York passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Antoinette (Annette) Pizzuto on April 3, 2024, surrounded by her adoring family. Annette was born on July 11, 1941 to Carmela and Michael Carrano of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She is predeceased by her husband John (2003) who was “the light of her life.”

Annette was a loving and devoted mother of daughters and sons-in-law Laura and Maurizio Lividini, Tara and William Sullivan, Dana and Aaron Franchini and her loving grandchildren Jenna Lividini, Nicholas Lividini, Billy Sullivan, John Sullivan, Anthony Franchini and Olivia Franchini.

Annette lived a very full and fruitful life, surrounded by friends and family. Her early career as a travel agent gave way to a passion for travel, as she explored destinations around the world including Spain, Morocco and Greece, to name a few. However, her favorite role was that of “Gammie” to her six grandchildren. Spending time with them, whether it be telephone chats, dinners out or vacations together, they were considered among her most cherished joys in life.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, April 13 at Church of the Presentation 271 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, NJ. Directly following will be an interment ceremony at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Road, Airmont, New York.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the John Theurer Cancer Center - Lymphoma Division.
