Anthony Allen

Anthony (Tony) Allen of New City, NY passed away on July 7, 2021 at the age of 81 with his loving family by his side. Tony was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico on January 20, 1940. He then moved to New York at the age of 7 settling in Manhattan where he met his wife of 62 years, Frances nee Riccio. They moved to the Bronx where they lived up until 2008 when they then moved with their daughter, Kim, son-in-law, Martin and their twin boys, Martin, Jr. & Anthony to Rockland County. Tony will always be remembered as the man with the biggest heart and loving ways who adored his family. He was a huge Yankee fan & loved watching his wrestling. His greatest joy in life was being Papa to his grandchildren, Martin Jr. & Anthony. He would always be seen in the outfield watching all of Anthony’s baseball games and attending Martin’s school recitals. They were his pride and joy. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 12 from 3pm – 7pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956.
