Anthony Joseph McDonough, also known as Tony or Red, passed away on May 25, 2014. He was 67 years old. Anthony was born in New York, NY on November 11, 1946 to Allen and Mary McDonough. Anthony loved to go golfing and fishing with his grandchildren. He also loved the NY Yankees, working with tools, but most of all, helping people. He always made people laugh. He was a wonderful man who loved and cared deeply for his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. Anthony is survived by the love of his life, his wife Barbara; they were married for 48 years; his son Michael, his daughters Patti and Bobbie; and his 5 grandchildren: Stephanie, Nicholas, Sami, Jake and Kevin. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-5 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, 10am, St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Nyack, followed by a private cremation.
