Forgot your anniversary yesterday. How are you, hope you are well. I can't believe it has been 4 years since you left us. I know your in good spirits and with good people. 
Your Yankees just started the new season. They have some heavy hitters.

Happy birthday in heaven. 96 years and I still think about you all the time. I wish you were still here and we can talk. I certainly wish both you and mom were still here as I really do have some things I could have discussed with you, but I whisper them at night and I know you send me guidance.The Yankees are doing well and are playing as I write for the league championship. We both know they are going to win, right!!!!!! Send some angels down to them and have them beat the low down Astro's. I'll send some angels up with all your favorite pastries. I remember how you wanted a small piece of this, small piece of that and then some. I didn't care what they said, in my eyes and heart, you can have anything you wanted. I love you. Robert

I miss you so much.  Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and mom. I wish you were here to join us for Samantha's Engagement Party.  I know you would be the first one dancing and enjoying the festivities.  I know you will be there in spirit. Just wish you could have a dance with Samantha. 
I can't believe 3 years have gone by without seeing your smile or hearing you say "Hi Doll". Keep sending me dimes, it makes me smile.

Hey Dad,

I can't believe it has been 2 years since you have left us. Happy anniversary in heaven. How are things up there? Having a good time? Playing cards with everyone, I know this was your favorite pastime. 

I cannot tell you how much I miss you and how much I think about you every day. It was strange. I think I had a dream and was telling somebody, don't know who, about the time you took me down to meet all the Yankees and how I got their autographs. Then all of a sudden, Boog Powell appears. I yelled out, I know him, I have his autograph too. Anyway, I was telling the person I was speaking with, that I have Mel Stottlemeyer, Ralph Houk, Mickey Mantle and others. I bet this was you reminding me how great a DAD you were and guess what YOUR RIGHT, YOU WERE A GREAT DAD. 

So on this day, need I say more of how much I miss you and love you.

Happy 95th Birthday in Heaven.  I can't begin to tell you how much you and mom are missed.  Since Samantha got engaged, you both have been on my mind.  I wish you were here to celebrate with us...you were always the life of the party.  I know you are looking down on Samantha  with a heart full of love and  joining in in her joy. We love you  and hope mom made you a special birthday dinner and cake.

Hey Dad,
Happy birthday in heaven. Wow, 95 years young. How are you and mom doing. I miss you so much. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. 

Your granddaughters just gave Stefanie a surprise 50th birthday party. They did a great job and you would have been so proud of them. All on their own and only a little help from the family. 

So it's October and your Yankees didn't make it to the post season. Upsetting. I need for you to send down some prayers and wishes for the next season and I know with those they will do better. 
Anyway I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday because you were the greatest and best father anyone could have wished for.

How are you, hope all is well. Easter came early this year and I almost forgot your 2nd anniversary in heaven. But none the less it was a joyous time. It would have been better if you and mom were there. I know how you both enjoyed parts of the meal, you the pasta and mom the lamb. 
I cannot express how much your missed, there is no value in the world that indicate that. 
Anyway, another angel joined you up there,Donna, and I'm sure she was welcomed with open arms a d hearts, especially by uncle sal and aunt Inez. 
So keep on praying for us and I will do the same.

Happy new year, 2016. Did you see thee ball drop. I know that was one of your favorite things to watch. 
I was listening to some music today and I put on Louis Armstrong what a wonderful world. I teared up and thought that is what is was like the both of you were here. It was wonderful having both of you here holding my hands. I knew I was always safe and didn't need to worry. 
Well that all ended when you left me alone. It is no longer a wonderful world and I miss both of you so much. I know it has been a while since you left but I wish it never was. Having you to look at and see your smiles was the best thing I could ever ask for. I don't know when the miss ends but I hope it doesn't because I will miss you until I see you both again.

Merry Christmas. How are you. I know your well and mom and you are having a grand old time, just like you did when it was with us. You and mom occasionally come and visit and memories come along. Mom sends light when she turns on my fan light. I know she agrees at that time what is happening. Times are tough and Christmas in my house is limited probably only another year or so. Just can't find a higher paying job and I'm miserable where I am. So say some prayers and send some luck that things change. Anyway merry Christmas and say hello to everyone b

Merry Christmas. You and Mom have been on my mind a lot these passed few weeks trying to get ready for the holidays. It's so hard keeping the traditions going but I do it because that's what you taught us to do. Family is the most important thing and bringing family together is what the holidays are all about.  You always loved having family around you and always made us laugh and smile.  Your appetite for all the desserts made us laugh; especially when we would ask you which one you wanted and your reply was a piece of esch. 
It's not the same without you and mom. That special light you brought to our lives has gone out.  I know you are here in spirit but to sit with you and mom one more time for a Christmas Eve celebration would be amazing. I know one day we will get to do that again but in the mean time I will cherish all the memories I have of all the past holidays. I hold each one in a special place in my heart.
I hope your Christmas with mom was special and miss you so much. Keep the dimes and pennies coming.

So you had a birthday this week. How was the party. How many pieces of cake did you have. I know you had to have more than one. Everyone says hello. 
Britt moved out and is living on her own. I need you to keep an eye on her and let me know how she is doing. 
I wanted to let you know that I miss you so much and wish I had one more time to sing happy birthday. That being not possible I know you hear me singing to you.

Not a day goes by without wishing you were still here. I miss all the times you were my car ride buddy. Going food shopping, bringing the kids somewhere, or going to an appointment.   We take for granted those we love the most and never think about the time when they won't physically be here. Now that you are not, it makes doing those things more of a task. I miss our times together and our little chats. I miss your smile and how you always could make us laugh. You definitely were a dad above the rest. I hope your father's day was special because that's what you deserve.

Happy Father's Day. How are you doing. If I had one wish that would be to come to visit you and hold your hand and see that contagious smile. Yesterday was old timers day at the stadium and Mel stottlemeyer was honored. I remember as if it was only yesterday the time you took me and we met Mel and others and got autographs. Growing up with you was the greatest. You taught me to be the man I am today so on this Father's Day it's all about the memories I have. The roller coaster rides, bowling and the train rides.  I can only thank god that you were the  man he chose to have in my life. I love you and miss you so much. Say hello to mom.

Do you know how fast a year goes?  Well it went by fast and it is your 1st anniversary in heaven. I could remember a year ago I was in training and you were there waiting for me to come by. I remember that when Renee put the phone by your ear and I said hello, you responded and smiled, as if go say I got your back. 
Well you did wait for me to return to say goodbye and I will never forget that moment. I added that moment to all the other happy moments when you were there to hold my hand, to encourage me and say, good job, I'm proud to be your father. 
Well dad, I proud to be your son, a son that misses you, a son that is struggling and a son that will carry on your legacy forever. 
You came through for me again as you have a million times before and I passed an exam and added another milestone to my legacy. 
So to the greatest father in the world and anyone could wish for, you made the newspaper and wishing you and MOM a happy anniversary in heaven a memorial was printed for you and we all thanked you for being DAD.

I can't believe it has been one year since I was able to hold your hand or kiss your cheek.  My heart misses your loving and gentle ways.  The way you can always make people smile or laugh.  The way that you can make any problem big or small seem so trivial.  The way you always put family and friends first before yourself.  You are and always will be an amazing man in my eyes.  Not a day goes by that I don't think about you.  There's an emptiness in our lives without you and mom there.  I guess we take for granted those we love the most, never thinking about the time they will no longer be there physically.  I look for strength from within my heart because I know you and mom will always be there.  But, today I am missing you a lot. Please send me a hug from heaven.  A dime today would be great.
If I didn't tell you enough, I want you to know that you were the best dad a daughter could ever have.
So, celebrate your 1st anniversary in heaven with mom and our family. Smile down on us knowing that everything we have become is because of you and mom.

Merry 1st Christmas in heaven.  I miss you so much. I miss hearing you sing along when the Christmas songs were playing.  It always made me smile.  I can't believe I won't ever hear that again.   You always loved to see the kids smile and laugh when you did.  You were a wonderful dad and grandpa and that's what makes it so hard without you here for Christmas.  I watched Frank make the antipasto and remember how you use to make it.  The kids would always get olives from you. Mom always said you couldn't cook but you made a mean antipasto.  I hope Frank's makes you proud. He learned from the best. 
You and Mom have been on my mind so much lately. The holidays make it tough. My memories of Christmas with the two of you are wonderful.  Thank you for teaching me how to make the holidays about family.  I wish you were here to enjoy Penny Rae. You always made sure that each of your grandchildren got special attention from you. But I'm sure somehow you are still doing that for Penny too.  Mom would have loved to hold a little one again. I could just see her kissing her until she giggled.  
Dad wish my mother in law a Merry Christmas for me. Give her a kiss from us.  Tell mom to stop teasing her about her cooking.  I wish you were all here to celebrate the holidays with us.

Happy 1st Christmas in heaven. It's just not the same without you and mom around. There is this empty feeling. I can't stop thinking about the both of you. The both of you were the glue that kept the family together. I know you and mom are enjoying each other up there in heaven. Being together and watching over each other is a great feeling. I wish somehow you both could come back and be with me. I need both of you to pray for me and send some luck my way. This Christmas is a tough one. I'm unemployed for the first time in my life and can't find a dam job. Let's hope with your prayers things change.

Happy 1st Thanksgiving in heaven. Santa just passed and he said happy  turkey day to you and mom. He wanted to know if you started to prepare the antipasto yet, he wanted to stop by and taste. 

I know you wee at the gate when a new angel, Filomena came and rang the doorbell. As she came and entered you and mom were surprised to see her and gold her it wasn't time. 

Anyway having another angel to look over us here will help. So when the three of you start eating turkey dinner say some prayers for us and look down and send smiles to us.

Hey champ. Happy 1st birthday in heaven. I always looked at you as my champion. Each and every day you would get up and go to work, whether it was in the city, Yonkers and even jersey. No matter where you had to go, you always managed to get there and on time, no matter how many buses you had to take or how many blocks to walk. 
Today your 93rd birthday you continue to inspire me. You always said look for the good in people and I try to do that every day, although it gets harder and harder. 
If I could only tell you how much me and the girls miss you that would make me the happiest son in the world. But I know you are reading this and hearing me every time I say it. 

Time doesn't matter. Missing you and mommy will never end. My only wish is that you were both still here. 

Anyway enjoy your birthday with mommy and have her give you a big kiss for me. We will be together again soon.

I want to wish you a Happy Birthday!  I wish you were here to enjoy your family wishing you a happy birthday and especially seeing the joy you got from everyone singing to you.  You always made us laugh because you would sing too.  No matter what type of cake we had, you made sure you had at least 2 pieces.  I miss seeing the joy it brought you.  If only I could give you a hug and kiss...you are so missed.  There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about the fun times we had. The times we stood up playing trivial pursuit until the sun came up.  You and mom would always make Frank and I laugh at your answers or how you came up with an answer.  My kids miss all the special times you spent with them at their games, or their school stuff or just watching the Yankees with you.  Even Fluffy sits in your chair now. I know she misses you walking her.  Everyone says it will get easier as time goes on, but I miss you more and more each day. So I am sending you a big hug and kisses for your birthday.  Give mom a hug and kiss from me too.  I hope you are celebrating with your family in heaven.  Have a dance for me.

I can't believe you have been in heaven for 6 months. Each and every day I look at your picture and glance over to your chair and wish you were still here with us. We miss you so much and wish you were here to give us your loving smiles and humorous ways you looked at life.  You always found the good in everything and everyone. It's been a tough week with the loss of Russ, but I am sure you were there with Uncle Sal and Aunt Inez to welcome him.
Watching the last few Yankee games and the ceremonies honoring Jeter, I know you would have enjoyed them. Deep down inside I know you were sitting beside me watching too. Things are not the same without you here, but as I go through my daily stuff you come to mind so often. I know it's your way of saying you're still with me and my family. I'm so grateful to have the memories that I have of you. You always knew how to make me smile. 
Please continue to watch over us. I sure you are still doing your middle of the night rounds. Keep Samantha and Mark safe. Frank misses your one liners. Give mom a big hug and kiss from us. Say hi to everyone. And dad thanks for the dimes!

I can't believe I won't ever hear you again say,"Hi Doll" whenever I walked into your room. You had a special way about you that always made people smile. You were truly my rock and protector. You taught me so much about the importance of family. I hope I was able to comfort you in your time of need. I never questioned what I needed to do for you and mommy. The both of you always gave a helping hand to me and my kids. I am so glad they grew up with you around. You always knew how to make them laugh and smile. You were there for all the special moments in their lives.  The ball games, the school plays, picking them up from camp or the bus stop, the graduations, and the award ceremonies, but more importantly, the nightly dinners and the checking in on them in the middle of the night.  You gave so much of yourself to them, and I thank you for that.
Dad, you are and always be in our hearts. Thank you for being the best dad and grandpa ever.

My godfather was "pure" love.  Everyone I spoke with confirmed what I had always sensed.  To consistently leave love and peace in your wake is next to impossible, but he did it with ease.  I will pray daily to be a little bit more like Uncle Coucci. All my love to my dear cousins, Arnold, Robert and Renee and their families during this time of mourning and sadness.  Remember to smile when you think of him free from pain, content, and watching over you.
