Barbara Ann Pisano

Barbara Ann Pisano of Congers passed away on October 27, 2016, she was 79 years old. Barbara was a resident of Congers for over 40 years and previously lived in the Bronx. She married her husband Arthur "Artie C" at Immaculate conception church in the Bronx in 1957. She worked for Matrix Instruments in Northvale, NJ from 1980 to 2000. Barbara was a member of Congers Senior Citizen's Club, Red Hats, and St. Paul's Church. She was a devoted supporter of Clarkstown sports and never missed a sporting event that her family was involved in.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Michael and Matthew, 6 grandchildren, her sister Janet Scappaticcio, her daughters in law, many nieces and nephews, and an abundance of life-long friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband Arthur in 2012, and her son Artie Jr. in 2006 whom she has joined in Heaven to shine upon us.

Visiting will be held at Higgins Funeral Home in New City on Tuesday from 3-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10am, at St. Paul's Church in Congers. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet.
