Barbara Ann Zeiger

Barbara Ann Zeiger, 65, formally of New City NY passed away peacefully at Holy Name Medical Center, Teaneck, NJ on March 31, 2016. She was born on July 23, 1950 in Queens NY to Florence and Charles Zeiger. Barbara was presently a resident of Guttenberg NJ where she was also self-employed for 30 years of a Marketing and Communication Company, The Media Center.

Barbara was a hard working woman who loved using her artistic abilities to create layouts for her job and various crafts including hand-stamped cards and pieces of jewelry. She loved collecting flowers and lawn decorations and took pride in arranging her family’s gardens. She enjoyed vacationing in St. Maarten and at East Hill Farm with her friends and family. Barbara’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She looked forward to attending craft fairs with her sister andgoing on shopping adventures with her nieces.

Barbara is survived by her mother Florence Zeiger of New City, NY. She is also survived by her loving sister Carol Massaro and brother-in-law Thomas P. Massaro of Stony Point, NY; two cherished nieces, Deborah Massaro of Brighton, MA, and Valerie Massaro and her fiancé Bryan Viggiano of West Haverstraw, NY. She was predeceased by her loving father Charles Zeiger of New City, NY. She will be missed by all who knew her.

​The Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 365 Strawtown Road, New City, NY at 11 am on Mon. April 4th. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 at Higgins Funeral Parlor in New City on Sun. April 3rd.
