My mother Betty was amazing. The people here who knew her certainly remembers her kindness and patience. And we did try her patience growing up , always fighting for the best spot  in front of the TV, chasing  each other, arguing, screaming. There are a bunch of super 8 movies with us running around,  like crazy at thanksgiving or birthdays and eventually ending with one of  us crying around the cake because someone else blew out the candles or stuck their fingers in it. If you don't believe me ask some of my older cousins. We were in constant need of  “redirection” My Dad got so good at flinging slippers at that he could pick you off even after you turned the corner of a room. My Mom became a Ninja with her broom. At least  Albert kind of got the hang of getting his homework done  by himself by second grade but My mom was forced to sit down with me to keep me focused and keep my hand writing  neat. By high school it was better, less homework , more reading, but then there were the typed essays that continued through college. My mom spent  many long nights up late sometimes until 2am at the last minute typing with me so I could get the papers in on time. It was her love, dedication and hard work that eventually push started us into the careers and lives we are living now  and I know I would not have made it without her.

A very lovely soft spoken women who loved everyone she met unconditionally .a lot iof good memories  when I had a pleasure to see and talk to her in Wayne nj during the holidays 

Mrs Betty Galante  was very humble graceful and alot of wisdom that she shared with everyone  . 

She is in good hands in heaven with the lord and her husband and close family members  and friends who passed on before her . 

A well lived life  had two boys and five grandchildren which brought love and joy throughout her life  . 

I Will miss our chats and I will always remember you hefty laugh and gracious points of views and advice    With great Sorrow and Condolences to Frank and Simeon and Albert  and Gabriella and the beautiful five grandchildren.

Betty encouraged us to come and stay for as long as we'd like. She was such a gracious and relaxed hostess. This was in March, 2003.

Betty was always by Lorenzo's side, here in front of their house in 2001.

We visited them many times  when we would go to Florida. This was in Dec. 2001 enjoying an afternoon by the bay.

We're so glad she had many good years with her grandchildren and that we could be there too.

What a great lady, she will be missed. A person I've known for over 50 years as a close friend of the family. I loved her like a second mom without question. What always amazed me was her calmness and grace - I think I saw her angry maybe twice and even then, she didn't raise her voice - she just dropped an octave or two lower :-)
I couldn't even guess at the number of times she fed me. There was always a seat at the table for me and my family - her generosity and warmth was clearly felt always.

Her laugh and smile were so endearing. Her love of her family and all the people in her life was completely evident.

My condolences to my brothers Al and Frank, Simona and Gabby their wives & their beautiful children. So fortunate to have their mom and grandma for so many wonderful years. I know she's at peace and with her loved ones that went before her.
