They say that “ Dear friends are the relatives you get to choose!”
The entire Mollahan Family have been those dear friends since 1975 when we all began to share our lives on Tor View Avenue. 
We celebrated joys, births of babies, milestones and, sometimes tears. We were all always there for each other. We were the village that raised our children with love and respect. We sat on one another’s stoops and exchanged laughter and carvel ice cream, while we watched all of our children and dogs at play. 
Carol you will always be loved by all and now missed by all. However, the me memories that you made: your infection laugh, your generosity of spirit and your love  will be felt by all of us always. 
Our hearts and prayers and love are now with your entire family. 
I know that there is a very special place in heaven waiting for you.

With Lo

Grief is difficult! As of today, it is not even a full calendar week since Mom has been gone.  In her life, Mom was faithful, tough as nails, caring, funny, fun to talk with, and generous with her time, talent and treasure.  SO much about her was SO charming!  She never had unreasonable expectations of her family or put any pressure  on those she loved. I am lucky enough to have been her daughter.  I turned “double nickels” a couple weeks before Mom passed.  I consider myself to be in my second half of life, and I understand grief knows no age.  The loss of a loved one, a mom, is about the relationship, not our ages.  In death, Mom was fearless, faithful, ready, and confident in where she was going.  There is a vacancy in my heart, and I will forever miss spending time with her.  I trust Mom is with her parents, sisters, and old friends.  Rest easy Mom, and take your place as leader of game night and the life of the party!  I love you, Laura

Deepest condolences to John, Eileen and family on the loss of this beautiful and vibrant woman I had the pleasure of knowing  if only for a few months. Carol was such a lovely lady, full of humor, warmth and strength. I especially loved her fun interaction with John at the office,  pretending not to hear his teasing remarks. She would say “I know what he’s saying but I’m ignoring him! He’s so good, my Johnny, but don’t tell him I said so!” Or, “I love coming here! You have the best snacks!” Rest in peace, Carol. You are already missed.

To the Mollahan Family we express our sincerest sympathy in the loss of your wife, Mother and grandmother. Carol is a  lifetime friend who will be missed. She was the life of the party with a contagious laugh. She could tell a story with such  humor that we would all laugh- whether it was a happy or sad story. Carol was so proud of her Family.
