Caroline Smith-McNamara

Caroline Smith - McNamara of West Nyack, NY, 81 years-old, passed away after a courageous battle with melanoma cancer on December 7th, 2021. She was born on August 19, 1940 to the late Catherine and Angelo Campo. Caroline worked as a security guard for Clarkstown Central School District for 18 years before she retired. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, gardening and traveling. Mother of four: Teresa Bateman (Jim) of Pearl River, NY. Donald Smith (Lisa-Ann) of Suffern, NY. Patti Paoli (Tim) of Middletown, NY. Christine Smith (George) of Pearl River, NY. Grammy of eleven grandchildren: Keeley Bateman Wajs (Jeremy), Brenden Bateman, Patrick Bateman, Anthony DiMarsico, Gianna DiMarsico, Sophia Smith, Ava Smith, Christopher Smith, Bryanna Paoli, Brittany Paoli and Dylan Paoli. Beloved twin sister to Bernadette Servedio, Kathy Smolinsky (Ronald), Robert Campo (Sheila) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands Donald P. Smith (1981) and Gerard McNamara (2012). She will be missed dearly..

A viewing for Caroline will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Margaret's in Pearl River on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Following the funeral mass, burial will occur at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet.
