She was born to Pellegrino and Antoinette Cippoletti on November 7, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY.
Carolyn loved her family and friends, Christmas Eve, the New York Yankees, playing bingo at Foxwoods, and Freddie Mercury. She also loved working and her work family at Highland Medical/Clarkstown Medical Associates in New City, NY. Her strength, courage, kindness, and feisty spirit will be missed.
Carolyn is survived by her beloved partner, Sandy and daughter, Ashley; her sister, Adeline; 6 nieces and nephews; 13 great nieces and nephews; and other cherished family members and friends. She is predeceased by her parents and brothers, Peter, Michael, Robert, and Anthony.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at The Valley Hospital and Luckow Pavilion who provided support and care throughout Carolyn’s treatment and final days.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 24 from 1pm - 5pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Carolyn.
