Catheleen Graney

Catheleen Moran Graney of Congers, NY passed away peacefully at her home on March 22, 2012 following a brief illness. Cathy is survived by her dear husband, Scott; her loving children Luke and Dylan; her mother Beverly of New City; her brother Neil of Rockville Centre, NY; her sister Ellen of Monroe, NY; her brother Terence of Sunnyside, NY. Cathy is also survived by her nieces Meghan, Colleen, and Patricia and her sisters-in-law Susan Lenihan, Maureen Moran and brother-in-law Thomas Graney. Cathy was predeceased by her father Matthew Moran. Cathy was formerly a teacher’s aide at West Nyack Elementary School and most recently worked as an assistant at the Offices of Clarkstown Town Attorney. Cathy was adored by her mother, husband, children, siblings, extended family, and friends. She will be deeply missed by all that were fortunate to have known and loved her. Family will receive friends on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, 11:15am, at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Congers, NY followed by interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake, Congers, NY.
