The youngest of eight sisters and three brothers, Catherine worked in the fashion world in the early fifties, and went on to earn a living as a medical secretary at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. She retired and moved out of her apartment of over forty years on Colden Avenue in the Bronx, moving to Sparkill, New York, so she could be closer to her children and grandchildren. Catherine is survived by her daughter Rima, son Greg, son-in-law Roger, daughter-in-law Charllote, and her six grandchildren she cherished so deeply, Noelle, Jay, Alex, Maxx, Gabrielle, and Louis.
Family will receive visitors at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY on Wednesday, January 8, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday morning, January 9, at St. Augustine’s Parish in New City at 10am. Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery.
