Charles John Maresca

Charles Maresca of Pearl River, New York, entered into rest on September 6th, 2014. Charles was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 30th, 1930 to Salvatore and Anna Maresca. Charles was a graduate of Baruch College with a Master's Degree in Statistics. Charles went on to serve in the Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on August 31, 1961. He devoted over 50 years with Martin E. Segal Company as Executive Vice President consulting, providing advice and counsel on national pension and welfare programs.

Charles is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie. He is also survived by his son Richard Maresca and daughter-in-law, Monica; daughter Geralynne McKiernan and son-in-law Robert McKiernan; and son Douglass Maresca and daughter-in-law Joan. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Terrence McKiernan, Gregory McKiernan, Anthony Maresca, Raymond Maresca, Sara Maresca, and Brian Maresca.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8th from 7-9pm and Tuesday, September 9th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 10th, 10am at Church of Presentation, 271 W. Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, NJ. Burial will immediately follow at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Road, Airmont, NY.
