Charlotte S. "Bobbie" Gross, a longtime resident of Blauvelt and more recently of Sparkill, died on April 26, 2015. She was 90. Charlotte was born on February 4, 1925 to the late Charlotte and Arthur E. Schmidt. A graduate of Barnard College in 1946, she served for many years as Administrator of The First Unitarian Society of Rockland County, retiring in 1994. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband William A. Gross and son William, Jr. She is survived by her son Jonathan Gross and his wife Laura; her grandchildren Benjamin and Daniel; and her daughter in law Linda Therrien-Gross.A celebration of Charlotte's life will be held Sunday, May 17 at 2:30 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockland, Pomona, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to United Hospice of Rockland.
