Christine L. Walsh

Christine L. (nee Rigos) Walsh of Highland Mills, NY passed away on October 10, 2011. She was 40 years old. Christine was born in Bronx, NY on August 16, 1971 to Harry and Joanne (Voccia) Rigos. She moved to New City, NY in the early 1970's, then moved to Pomona, NY and has been currently a resident of Highland Mills for 10 years. Christine married the love of her life, Michael, on August 29, 1998 at St. Augustine's Church in New City. She was a graduate of Clarkstown North High School in 1989 and attended Ramapo College, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology and was employed by Verizon Wireless for 13 years as a Customer Service System Manager in Orangeburg, NY. She loved watching movies and enjoyed reading. Christine was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister whose greatest joy came from her son.

Christine is survived by her husband, Michael; her son, Dylan; her parents, Harry and Joanne Rigos of New City; and her brother, Robert Rigos of Stony Point, NY.

Family may receive friends on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 10am at St. Augustine's Church in New City.
