Clifford Albert Rickli Jr.

Clifford Rickli, Jr. passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026 at the age of 85 surrounded by his loving family. He was a lifelong residence of Bardonia, New York. Born on September 17, 1940 at Nyack Hospital. He was the son of Clifford Rickli, Sr. and Gertrude (Kay) Rickli (Both deceased).

Cliff was retired from the Clarkstown Highway Department after thirty-five years of service, working his way from laborer, foreman, mechanic to road inspector. He was a member of the Volunteer Rockland County Mounted Sheriff’s Department since 1964. He was also a member and past President of the Bardonia Men’s Club.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Patricia (Starkey) Rickli, his son, Clifford Rickli III, his wife, Ann Marie (DiGioia) Rickli and their daughters, Nicole and Samantha, also of Bardonia, NY, his son, Scott Rickli, his wife Meredith (Bauer) Rickli and their daughter Waverly and their son, Ryer, of West Nyack, NY.

He cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren who made him very proud. He also loved hunting and fishing with his family and lifelong friends.

He is also survived by his sister, Katherine (Rickli) Guttman of North Carolina and his brother, T.J. Rickli and his wife Sandra (Gabrielson) Rickli of Bardonia, NY. Also, many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Eliane (Rickli) Katt and brother, Michael Rickli, Sr., both of Bardonia, NY.

Services will be private as to his wishes. In memory of Clifford, donations may be made to either the Rockland County Sherrif’s Department at 55 New Hempstead Road, New City, NY 10956 or the Nanuet Fire Engine Company, Inc. at P.O. Box 356 Nanuet, NY 10954.
