

Dino passed away after valiantly fighting leukemia, surrounded by his family: Janet Michello, Pamela, Donald, Dianna, Ava Eliasson, Kelly, Zoey, and Quinn Black. He is survived by his sister, Alejandra Lora (Wellington); his brother, Fernando Inoa (Mery); nieces Suzanne Inoa and Stephanie Lora (Timmy); nephews Michael Inoa and Wellington Lora (Stephanie); and other family members. He was predeceased by his father, Dagoberto Inoa, Sr., and his mother, Mercedes Antonia De La Rosa Inoa.
Dino was born in the Dominican Republic, came to the United States as a teenager, and lived in Sunnyside, Queens, before enlisting in the Army during the Vietnam era. He proudly served two tours in the 101 st Battalion. He was a long-time member of the Nyack American Legion Post 310 and dedicated to serving fellow veterans. Dino was a big sports fan, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and fellow members of Post 310. Dino was known for his kindness, friendliness, and compassion for others. He worked in restaurant management for many years before retiring and relocating to Valley Cottage, NY, with Janet 25 years ago.
Visiting hours are 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and the funeral service is at 6:30 PM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service, 321 South Main Street, New City, NY 10956.
