Dave Sherwayne Dumont King

Dave lived in Rockland County for the past 34 years, and previously lived in The Bronx and in Yonkers, NY. He was born on November 9, 1963 in Jamaica, West Indies, to Patricia and Aufranc King. He graduated from Salesian High School in New Rochelle, NY and subsequently attended Pace University where he majored in Business Administration. Dave founded Caribreeze Vegan Delight, and was passionate about its customers, his family and friends, and veganism. He enjoyed astronomy, electronics, and technology. He had a calm and friendly personality and was known for his ability to sense when people needed help. He was also notorious for his light-hearted sense of humor and his winning smile.

He is survived by his mother and his father; his sister Dyonne Allen (Joseph), his brother Sean (Kumi); his niece Jasmine Allen; and his nephews Jason Allen, Shota King and Eiji King. All who knew him will miss him and know that his heart and spirit will live on forever.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 24, from 1-3pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY, for a Memorial Service celebrating Dave's life.
