Donna Canosa of Spring Valley, NY passed away suddenly on March 18, 2022. There is great shock and sadness felt by all who love her. Donna was a devoted cat lover, an amazing cook, an avid reader, and, most importantly, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and loyal friend. She loved telling funny stories, visiting the casino, sharing funny cat videos, and is remembered by all who knew her as genuine, sweet, and friendly. Donna is now reunited eternally with her mother Rita. She is survived by her father, Jack; her sister Valerie; her niece Rita and nephew James; her great-nephews Benjamin, Andrew, and James Jr.; and by many friends whom she considered family. She also leaves behind four cats who will be taken in and loved by family and friends.
There will be a burial on Wednesday, March 23 at 11:30 am at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hudson Valley Humane Society.
