

Eddy Michel, born on May 22, 1965, in Haiti, peacefully departed this life on May 23, 2026, surrounded by the love and prayers of family and friends. Eddy dedicated his life to hard work, helping others, and supporting his loved ones both near and far.
Eddy was known for his honesty, generosity, strength, and deep faith in God. He was a caring brother, uncle, and friend who always encouraged those around him to trust in the Lord and never give up. Though he had no children of his own, he deeply loved his nephews and nieces as if they were his own children.
Eddy was preceded in death by his beloved late mother Gracia Michel and late father Cecilio Lovelace. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his siblings, including Marlene Alcanthe, Marie Renee Laplante, Danielle Lovelace, Edouard Lovelace and Melissa Lovelace; his beloved nephews and nieces including Darling Etienne, Joubert Alcanthe, Ricardo Alcanthe, Nikakim Alcanthe, Wisley Alcanthe, along with their spouses and children, as well as many extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched deeply.
Eddy fought with remarkable strength and resilience for many years. His courage and determination inspired all who knew him. Eddy Michel will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered for his kind heart, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
May he rest in eternal peace.
Visitation will be held at Sinai French Seventh-day Adventist Church, 7 Johnson St, Spring Valley, NY 10977, US, on June 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on June 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Burial will take place at Eglington Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, 320 Kings Hwy, East Greenwich Township, NJ 08020, US, on June 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
