Edward P. Vecchio, 89, died on February 5, 2011. He was born on October 28, 1921 in New York City. He served in the United States Air Force, during WWII as a radio operator. He is survived by his five children, Edward Vecchio Jr., Mary Piscani, Patricia DiDomenico, James Vecchio, Francine Cobuzzi and their spouses. He will be missed dearly by his 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Edward is predeceased in death by his wife of 56 years Palma Vecchio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday at the Higgins FS, New City from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 10am at St. Aedans Church, Pearl River, NY. Burial to follow at Fred Loescher Veterans Cemetery, Spring Valley, NY.
