Elizabeth Travis-Baraschi, 62, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 of unknown causes at home in Pomona, N.Y. Elizabeth was born June 4, 1948 in Brooklyn New York and was a long-time resident of Pomona, New York, where she raised her two children, James and Christine. She graduated the Fashion Institute of Technology, NY, studied in Paris and traveled throughout the world. She was a magnificent artist. She designed high-end fabrics, wallpaper as well as designing shopping malls in Kuwait with her husband Anton. Additionally, she was a great water-color artist. Just recently, Elizabeth wanted to help people in different way so she went to Massage Therapy school and was to take her test January, 2011 for her New York license, recently obtaining her New Jersey license. Elizabeth’s family was always everything to her. She loved her children James and Christine and wouldn’t go anywhere unless she knew they were alright. They are. It broke our hearts to lose her and for many, she did not go alone; for part of us went with her. She is survived by her children, James and Christine Baraschi, husband, Anton Baraschi, siblings Rosemary Travis, Judy Travis, Janice Travia and Maureen Eppolito. Nieces and nephews and many friends too numerous to mention. She is preceded in death by parents, Anthony and Mary Travis, and sister Debbie Rutledge.
Elizabeth left us with memories of love being our guide. She is thought of every minute of the day until we can be together again.
