Frances P. Allen

Frances Patricia (Riccio) Allen passed away peacefully at her home on January 14, 2025 in New City, NY surrounded by her family. Frances was born in New York City on November 16, 1938 and grew up in Manhattan where she met the love of her life, Tony, while sitting on her stoop. That glance of love at first sight led them to being married for 62 years where they made a life in the Bronx before moving to New City.

Frances led a life marked by the love of her family. Her family was everything to her, especially her twin grandsons. She retired from working as a nurse's aid to take care of them and enjoyed nothing more than watching them grow up into the amazing young men they are today.

She was very proud of them. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mom, grandmother, aunt and friend with a feisty personality. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony (Tony) Allen, her parents, Patrick and Helen Riccio, her siblings, Loretta Riccio Elfers and Patrick Riccio. She is survived by her daughter Kim Campise, son-in-law Martin, her grandsons Martin Jr. and Anthony, and her nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 21st from 4pm - 8pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A service will occur Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 6:00 PM, 321 S Main St, New City, New York 10956. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at St Raymond Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Ave, Bronx, NY 10465.
