Francis, you and Joe were immediately liked by everyone when I was married, and that says a lot.  At work, all of us loved your soda bread, and Joe always had a separate piece for me to take home.  I know you two are together in Heaven as you were on Earth, someday we will meet again.   -Ray Iorio

I remember Joe bringing into work Irish Soda Bread every St Patrick's day, made by Fran Fitzgerald.  That was so delicious, I loved both Joe and Fran and miss them both.  

So sorry guys for the loss of your mom Fran, didn't know about her or your dad.  Strange I would send him Christmas cards and did not hear from him or anyone?  I hope they are together in heaven.  Joe and your mom were good people.

Dear Children of Joe and Fran Fitzgerald.  I worked many year at Viacom with your dad, loving known as Joe Fitz in the 70s.  We remained in touch for decades and all of a sudden I stopped hearing from him.  Sent him Christmas cards the remaining 3 years after his death and just figured he and your mom moved.  Had no Idea he had passed and just found that out, and then a minute later found out about your mom.  Joe was my favorite and best boss I ever had.  I am very sorry for the  losses you have suffered.  Wish I had known sooner as I would have attended your dads service as I did have a townhouse for the summer down the shore.  Ray Iorio,

Jim and I shared wonderful times with Fran and Joe. We were so lucky to have them as neighbors and raise our kids together on Eberling  Drive. I will miss her dearly.  My thoughts and prayers are with your family. 

Fran made raising kids look easy. We all know that is not true. Her and Joe were a beautiful couple and left behind them  A beautiful family . My heartfelt sympathy and love goes out to you all. Aunt Beth
