Winifred Horan. He earned his undergraduate degree from John Jay College and his Master’s
degree from Fordham University. After 20 years as a proud member of the New York City Police

Growing up in the Bronx, Frank worked at Yankee Stadium selling peanuts and ice-cream,

Notre Dame. Frank was an avid sportsman himself - playing tennis at the West Nyack Swim
Club, running the New York City marathon, and biking throughout Rockland. He also enjoyed
history and Irish music.
He married his beloved Patricia (Pat) on August 26, 1961. They were blessed with 56 years of
love, laughter and joy. He is survived by his five devoted children: Kevin (Jennifer), John
(Christine), Maureen (Charles) Hampsey, Christine (Peter) Curtin, and Tricia (Doug) Strey,
fourteen grandchildren, three sisters: Mary Hogan, Eileen Sweeney, and Kathleen Kelly, and

Frank taught all who knew him what love, kindness, and generosity are. His life was our
blessing.
