Franklin Curtis Fremont

Franklin Fremont of Congers, NY 68 years old, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2016. Frank was a longtime resident of Rockland County. He was born on August 22, 1947 to Rita and Jack Fremont. He graduated from SUNY New Paltz and married the love of his life, Nancy(nee Sprio)in 1980. He was an active member of the Clarkstown Republican Party and a coach for Rockland County Challenger Little League. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, soccer, running, hiking and attending swim meets. His greatest joys came from his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughters Camille (Jason) Rich and Marissa Fremont. He is also survived by his sister, Susan (Jerry) Morlitz and his beautiful granddaughter, Charlotte Rich in addition to nieces, nephews and numerous family members. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, New City. Services will be held on Saturday, 10am at the Funeral Home, followed by interment at Gethsemane Cemetery Congers, NY.
