Gladys Matos of Rockland, NY, 82 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 1, 2025. She is survived by her two daughters, one son (Judy, Evelyn and Anthony) and her sons and daughter in law (Don, Jay and Maritza). She is also survived by two grandchildren (Anthony and Christian).
She cherished her time spent with family and close friends especially, who all have made her very proud.
Gladys was born on Aguada, PR on August 30, 1942. She was the backbone of the family as she supported her family in every way possible. She was the life of the party, a source of positive energy, a good listener without any judgement, and lived to see some great accomplishments which made her so very happy.
A memorial will be held Saturday, March, 8th at 2pm at Higgins Funeral Home at 321 South Main Street New City, NY. She will be sorely missed. May she rest peacefully.
