Hedy Chisholm

Hedy Lamar Chisholm, III.It is with great sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of our beloved Sister Hedy Lamar Chisholm III. at the tender age of 36. She was lovingly known by her family and friends as "NuNu". Her sunrose June 11,1986 in Mt. Vernon, NY and her sunset April 25, 2023 in Haverstraw,NY.

NuNu was born to Predeceased Parents, Daniel and Hedy Lamar Hammonds, II. of Mt. Vernon, NY. She was raised in Stamford, CT by her Predeceased Grandparents Wallace and Hedy Lamar King, I. After relocating to Rockland County, she graduated from North Rockland High School in Thiells, NY. NuNu worked as an Aide for several years at Camp Venture in Valley Cottage, NY. She birthed two children; A stillborn son she named Terrance Hartfield, Jr., and her now 14-year-old daughter, Nevaeh Lyfe Murphy of Haverstraw, NY. NuNu is also survived by six siblings. La-Toshia Lamar Chisholm of Upstate Connecticut, Danielle Sharie Hammonds of New Jersey, Tiffany Michelle Chisholm of New City, NY,Christopher Wallace Chisholm, Sr. of Middletown, NY, Jennifer Nicole Chisholm of Stamford,CT and Daniel DeQuan Hammonds of Yonkers, NY. 18 Nieces and Nephews. Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Sister, Thank you for the lessons you've taught us. We will never get over losing you, but are grateful to have you as our Angel.Until we meet again, Rest in Paradise Love.

The Family will have a private Celebration of Life Ceremony in Connecticut. All monetary donations will be gifted to NuNu's daughter Nevaeh.
