Jack A. Antonaccio passed away on November 4, 2011 with his loving family by his side. He was 81 years old. Jack was born on February 28, 1930 to Albert and Aida (nee Bruno) Antonaccio. He entered the Army on November 10, 1953 and served our country in the Korean War. He lived in New City for 49 years, prior from Mount Vernon. Jack has been happily married to the love of his life, Esther, for 54 years. He worked at Grant Hardware for 25 years and worked at Lighting Services in Stony Point for 3 years. Jack was a member of the VFW, the American Legion in New City, as well as a dedicated member of the St. Augustine's Church.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Esther; his beloved daughter, Debbie Peterson of Nanuet, NY; and his cherished grandson, Christopher.
Family may receive friends on Monday from 8:00am to 9:45am at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10am at St. Augustine's Church, New City, NY. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Korean Veterans.
