Janet Lynch

Janet Lynch of Nanuet, NY, 73 years old, passed away on May 26, 2026. She is survived by her three children; Her son Christian and daughter-in-law Karla, and her two daughters, Constance (Dina) and

Alexis. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Connor, Logan, and Parker. She cherished her time with her grandchildren who were her pride and joy later in life.

Janet was born in Inwood, NY to Joseph and Constance Lynch on August 11, 1952. Janet was one of five children (Older brother John (Deceased), younger brothers Kenneth and David, and younger sister Karen). Janet attended St Judes grammar school and then George Washington High School in Manhattan. She worked as a manager of Pathmark in various locations and then became the Office Manager at the New York Chiropractic Life Center for many years which lead her to a life of alternative health care. Unfortunately, in sickness, pain and fear lead her down the medical road which failed her miserably.

Janet was always a free spirit and often operated outside the box. In her earlier days, known for her ability to dance and cut up the rug – Usually with her dance partner and brother John. She was artistic

with an ability to draw – Stating she would see the picture already on the paper and just trace it out. Two things she would want all her loved ones to know is there are always alternative methods worth

exploring and most importantly, Jesus is real. Janet came back to Jesus in her 50’s and was faithful until the end. Because of the Grace given, through her faith in Jesus, she is assured a place in Heaven.

Visitation will be at Michael J Higgins funeral service in New City on Wednesday, June 3rd, from 5-9PM.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, June 4th at 10AM at Hope Community Church - 109 Middletown Road in Nanuet, followed by a burial in St. Pauls Highview Cemetery, Nanuet, New York.
