Jean Timmons

Jean Timmons (nee Baisley) of Chestnut Ridge, NY, 72 years old passed away on January 14, 2018. Jean was a lifelong resident of Rockland County. She was born on November 2, 1945 to Norma and Henry Baisley. She graduated from Spring Valley High School and married the love of her life, Tom in 1965. Together they opened Hilltop Deli in New City in March of 1967. Aside from her family this was one of her greatest accomplishments. Through the deli she met so many lifelong friends who meant the world to her and her family. Jean was very passionate about her family, friends, animals, traveling and working at the deli. She is survived by her daughter Kelly and son-in- law Vinny Curcio; her son Tommy and daughter –in- law Nicole. She is also survived by her sisters Joan Jones and Nancy Pallak, her brother-in- law Ed Timmons, her niece Jodi Howe and her grandchildren: Vinny, Nicky, Taylor, Brianna and Hunter. She was predeceased by her husband Tom and her sister Barbara. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Funeral service will be on Friday at 10:30am at Higgins Funeral Home followed by interment at Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in New Hempstead.
