John McHugh

He is pre-deceased by his father John McHugh. He was a beloved son to Marian; and a loving brother to his three sisters and brother; Patricia (McHugh) Basilo and Thomas Basilo of Tenafly, NJ; Joanne (McHugh) Justyna of Nanuet, NY; Eileen McHugh of West Nyack, NY; and Brian and Theresa McHugh of Staten Island, NY.

He was a wonderful uncle to his niece and nephews, Jennifer (Basilo) Dauble & Kevin Dauble; Christopher Basilo and Jennifer; Matthew Basilo and Luke McHugh. As well as being a great uncle to his great nieces and nephews, Sara & Avery Dauble; Emerson Basilo and Ryan Dauble.

John was a talented and gifted craftsman, whose creative skills are reflected throughout his home and in the many beautiful buildings he worked on throughout Rockland County.

John will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Family will receive guests on Thursday, June 6th from 4-8pm at Michael J Higgins Funeral Home; located at 321 South Main St. New City, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, in West Nyack, at 11am on June 7th. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
