Joe served in the Korean War, was retired from the NYC Highway Department, and was a member of Park Evangelical Free Church where he enjoyed playing the drums during Sunday Service.
In addition to his parents, he was pre deceased by his first wife, Helen, his sister Barbara, and his brothers Cris, and Jimmy.
He is survived by his wife Linda, her daughters Rosemarie and Fabiola, his children, Joseph and his wife JerriAnne, Christine and her husband Mick, Peter and his wife Lisa, and David and his wife Beth. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
All are welcome to visit the family at Higgins Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9. A service will be held at Park Evangelical Free Church on Wednesday following interment at Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery.
