June A. Grady

June A. Grady of Valley Cottage, New York died on Thursday, November 5th after a long illness. She was born in Yonkers, New York on June 23, 1939 to the late Frank and Nancy Bonacci Pierorazio. She was the beloved wife of Frank Grady whom she married in 1956 and who predeceased her in 1998. June was the devoted and loving mother of Patricia, Frank, Jr., Kathy, Robert and Michael Grady. Patricia predeceased her in 1986 and Frank, Jr. in 2017. June is survived by her four granddaughters whom she loved with all her heart, Krystal, Lisa, Jennifer and Nichol. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Susan, her brother Peter Pierorazio, her sisters, Antoinette Cacace, Donna Matos and Rose Marie Penso. She was predeceased by four brothers, Frank, Robert, Nicholas and Charley and three sisters, Janet Wirchansky, Shirley Cataldo and Theresa Pierorazio. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, her brothers- in - law, Ed Wirchansky, and Robert Grady and her sister-in- law, Dolores Obuch.

June loved to play BINGO which she did every Friday at her local parish. She also loved completing puzzles and word games and visiting NYC museums and shows. After her children were grown, she worked for a Bagel & Yogurt Shop in New City where she moved to from Yonkers with her family in the late 70’s. June was a remarkable wife, mother, grand-mother and friend. She was forever sweet and always kind to everyone.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at St. Augustine’s Church, 114 S. Main Street, New City, N.Y. 10956. Interment is at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, 36 W Nyack Road
