Justin S. Raja

Justin S. Raja passed away on October 10, 2014. He was 33 years old. Justin was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 3, 1980 to Tonin and Gloria (Perez) Raja. He moved to Rockland with his family, where he resided before moving to New Hope, PA. Justin attended Neumann University and received a BS in Business Administration. He worked at Nordea Bank for 3 years as Assistant Vice President of Internal Audit. He married the love of his life, Lauren, on September 24, 2011 at Our Lady of Shkodra Church in Valhalla, NY. Justin loved to travel and he was a huge history buff. His friends enjoyed eating his delicious cooking and he was also an avid Buffalo Bills and Rangers fan. Justin had an infectious smile; he was hard working, had self-determination and was completely selfless. He was a gentleman who was able to light up a room and had an unbelievable zest for life. Justin will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lauren, of New Hope, PA; his parents, Tonin and Gloria of Montebello; his grandmother, Barle Raja; his brother Matthew (Diana); his sister Dana (Niko); his niece, Ava, as well as many loving family members and friends. Family will receive visitors at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY on Friday from 2-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday 10am at Our Lady of Shkodra Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
