Karen Patricia Cummings of New City, NY passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2013. Born December 14, 1956 in Oak Ridge, TN, Karen grew up in Latham, NY and graduated from Shaker High School in 1975. She graduated from SUNY Albany with a degree in mathematics in 1979. Karen had a successful career with IBM in the NYC/NJ region as a marketing systems engineer, earning numerous sales awards. She enjoyed outside activities such as running, golfing and camping. Karen was wonderfully creative; excelling in cooking, sewing and crafting. She was a loving, caring, and generous person who will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Karen is survived by her loving husband, Paul, and children Emily and Ryan. She is also survived by her mother, Patricia A. Judge of Latham, NY; sisters Linda Judge of Ballston Lake, NY and Theresa Judge Laver (Chris) of Half Moon Bay, CA, and many nieces and nephews. Karen was predeceased by her father, Dr. Frank D. Judge of San Jose, CA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 2013, 10am, at St. Augustine's Church, New City, NY.
