Karen Arline Skinner

Karen A. Skinner, 67, of Valley Cottage, NY passed away on Wednesday December 25, 2013 at home. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. To those that had the pleasure of knowing her she was the most loving, kind and caring person who always put others' needs before her own. She was a true angel sent from heaven. Her beautiful spirit will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 46 years, George W. Skinner, her two children Rick & Kristine, son-in-law, Ryan Loock & daughter-in-law, Carina Skinner & her two granddaughters Kaitlyn & Samantha. Karen will also be fondly remembered by her mother Ivy Fredrick, her sister Kathy Scott, her brother Kenneth Moore and nephews and nieces Christopher, Chad & Marina Scott.

Family will receive visitors at Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome or a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
